It is not Food in our Life, but Life in our Food that matters!

Live food raw foods should make up at lesat 70 percent of our intake. It is ideal to take one mono fruit meal and one raw vegetable salad meal in a day.

Assuming that the cooked food is prepared according to Nature Cure guidelines. chewing well acts as the main check against over eating. (Deliberate chewing is recommended for raw foods as well.)

When we chew well, signalling among taste buds, brain and stomach is well co ordinated and we also feel satiated at the right time. This helps break the habit of over eating.

Ensure to have fibrous cooked meals. When you eat whole plant based foods, fibre is naturally present. Fibre has 2 beautiful properties – 1. absorbs water and becomes bulk in stomach and adds satiety and thus we feel fuller with less amounts of food and 2. we humans do not have enzymes to break down fibre. So, fibre rich food stays in the stomach for longer period of time and thus makes us feel hungry less often.
