It is our point of perception which is at the bottom of this problem. When as a result of a healthy lifestyle, our health improves and makes us independent in matters of personal health, people’s wasteful comments should not bother us.
If we are bothered, it only shows our lack of self-esteem.
If we keep up this lifestyle for a long enough period, the rewards of our good health will be visible to others and all those who were joking about your habits at one time are likely to say “I don’t know how you do it? I am not able to follow any healthy habits! Please help me become healthy too.”
In my younger years, I have got calls from those very friends to help them with their health problems, who used to mock at me as a ‘grass doctor’. As long as we know the values of a healthy lifestyle, we should only cherish the gift of good health! These are much smaller problems compared to the severe problems of chronic disease condition that comes with following the popular lifestyle!
